Don’t allow losses to snowball.

If I had a bad training day, i should not allow the next day to be bad. If I had a bad training week, the next week should be a great week.

This week is a good example of that. I wrote last week about how I felt so terrible about missing the long run. I was determined to fix it this week. Started off strong but I was feeling low during the week because I didn’t get in any cycle or lift. thankfully, the bike arrived on Thursday. From that night till now, I finished the week feeling absolutely strong

  • 3 swims including a record 2050m swim.

  • 3 runs totaling 34km

  • 2 cycles on the trainer.

I didn’t do a lift but I got in at least 3 sets of split squats which were my focus anyway.

Now I’m feeling very tired but emotionally in the right place. gonna have a couple of days off next week so hopefully I get an emotional lift from that


أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

They will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured, and they repel evil with good, and from what We have provided them, they spend.

Al-Qasas (28:54) - سورة القصص 28:54
